Overview Humber River Health (HRH) is a 1.8 million square foot, fully digital acute care facility in Canada, equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology and serving over 850,000 residents in the northwest Greater Toronto Area. HRH operates 722 acute inpatient beds and employs approximately 8,000 staff, 800 physicians and 1,000 volunteers. The hospital also includes the Reactivation Care Centres (RCCs) at the Finch and Church campuses, focusing on specialized care for patients designated as Alternative Level of Care. HRH is a member of the Toronto Academic Health Sciences Network and hosts the Schulich Family Medicine Teaching Unit (Schulich FMTU) in partnership with the University of Toronto, providing academic opportunities for residents and interdisciplinary health professionals. Position Summary We are seeking an Academic Family Physician to establish a full‑time family practice at the Schulich FMTU. The role involves a minimum of 5 half‑days per week of comprehensive family medicine and weekly supervision of residents and medical students. Potential for leadership roles and additional responsibilities is available. A signing bonus may be available for eligible candidates.
