Senior Director - Enterprise Strategy and Transformation Join to apply for the Senior Director - Enterprise Strategy and Transformation role at RBC Overview Enterprise Strategy & Transformation (ES&T), RBC’s cross-enterprise internal consulting and corporate strategy team, is organized under the RBC Chief Legal, Administrative & Strategy Officer. The ES&T team serves as thought partners to senior executives, offering targeted support for the highest priority and most complex strategic problems, and helps to develop and articulate RBC’s enterprise strategy and line of business strategies. The team also acts as a catalyst for enterprise transformation, cross-platform collaboration, and new capability development, and drives RBC’s strategic agenda across the Board, CEO, and Group Executive level. ES&T offers a dynamic, fast-paced, and exciting environment with unique exposure to distinct parts of the bank. Working within a high-performance area of the bank, the team provides opportunities for skill development, career advancement, and the chance to work on the bank’s most ambitious initiatives. What will you do? Perform comprehensive strategic reviews and analyses leveraging frameworks, approaches, tools and methodologies and develop robust recommendations to support Group Executive, segment Operating Committees, and lines of business Provide leading practice thought leadership around topics such as Gen AI, Enterprise Partnerships, Strategic Design and Transformation Ensure growth strategies are well developed, articulated and aligned across businesses and with enterprise perspective/priorities, and proactively identify benefits such as revenue streams or cost savings opportunities Support the annual enterprise strategic development process, business portfolio review, and related senior leader off sites/events to advance RBC’s strategy Produce materials for Enterprise Strategy Office, Group Executive and Board for review, discussion, and decision Gain the position of trusted advisor and help facilitate trade-off / prioritization decisions with senior leaders, strategists, functions, cross-functional project teams and colleagues by providing rigorous strategic insight based on thorough research and analysis Lead a portfolio of projects end-to-end ensuring robustness of problem-solving, while managing project teams, senior stakeholders, timelines and delivering Mentor and coach Directors, Senior Managers and Managers on core strategy skills, professional development, and career management What do you need to succeed? Must Have: 10+ years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Consulting, Capital Markets or product management/strategy experience within a Financial Services, FinTech or technology company A minimum of five years of deep and broad management consulting experience with an emphasis on business strategy is highly desirable. While not required, an MBA or graduate/post-graduate or professional designation is an asset. Experience leading a project team, along with demonstrated ability in project design, management and implementation. Experience with new/emerging businesses and digital business models. Interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships at every level of the organization. Strong written and oral presentation skills and presence. Strong technical ability with PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Comfort working in ambiguous situations and across different lines of business. What’s in it for you?
