Tamil Language Consulting Expert Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Base pay range: $8.00/hr - $12.00/hr Type: Independent Contractor Remote. Duration: 5 weeks (with potential extension) . Commitment: 10+ hours/week Role Responsibilities Review, evaluate, and refine AI-generated images and videos based on Tamil prompts for accuracy, relevance, and fluency. Provide linguistic and cultural feedback to improve model understanding. Identify and correct subtle linguistic and cultural nuances in AI-generated outputs. Experiment with Gemini and other multimodal AI tools to test prompt effectiveness and output quality. Document failure modes and inconsistencies to inform model refinement. Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to enhance overall system behavior. Qualifications Full professional fluency in Tamil and English. Strong understanding of regional Tamil dialects, idioms, and expressions. Familiarity with Tamil and Indian cultural, social, and linguistic diversity. Up-to-date awareness of contemporary Tamil and Indian media and popular culture. Interest in AI creativity tools and curiosity about how models interpret linguistic prompts visually. Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
