**Job Title: Millwright Mechanic****Job Description**As a Licensed Mechanic Millwright, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our operational performance. You will ensure compliance with our maintenance programs and manage work order scheduling, focusing on both reactive and preventative maintenance for technical and non-technical components.**Responsibilities**Attend breakdown calls and independently troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.Escalate recurring problems to the supervisor and work on eliminating them.Perform minor repairs, equipment setup, changeovers, overhauls, and fabrication as needed.Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment such as food mixers, slab forming machines, horizontal wrappers, robotic pick and place systems, case packers, tunnel ovens, and conveyors.Provide technical assistance and advice in optimizing preventive maintenance efforts.Assist outside contractors and ensure adherence to GMP policies.**Essential Skills**Minimum 5 years of experience as a Millwright Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or Electrician.Certified NOC 7311 or Red Seal Millwright Mechanics or Provincial Electricians Ticket (442A or 309D) required.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**Working experience with equipment such as vertical wrappers, horizontal wrappers, robotics pick and place, and tunnel ovens is an asset.Knowledge of PLC, robotics, HMIs, and controls is preferred.Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.Hands-on experience with power transmission systems, electric and electronic controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, welding, brazing, soldering, servo and electric motors, lubrication types and systems.Proven machining skills using lathes, milling, and drill press.Rigging and hoisting experience is an asset.Flexibility to work afternoons and weekends.**Why Work Here?**Enjoy comprehensive health, vision, and dental benefits available from day one, with a company-covered benefits program ensuring no deductions from your pay.
