We have over 200 offices across Canada, ask us about our flexible work arrangements We are looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join BrokerLink and work from our Ottawa Cyrville Road or Fitzgerald Road office in our Eastern Ontario, on a Permanent FT Basis. You’ll work in a supportive call centre setting, where you’ll provide insurance advice to our valued clients, assisting with quotes, policy updates and coverage questions. As part of our employee promise, here are some of the many perks of working with us: Flexible health and dental insurance benefits package Personal Spending amount to invest in your healthy lifestyle RRSP - Registered Retirement Savings Plan with Company matching ESPP - Employee Share Purchase Plan (TSX:IFC) program with matching aspect ‘Dress for your day’, dress according to your daily schedule Competitive compensation package with bonus aspect Employee discount program, including Apple, Bell, Rogers and more Paid Time Off in the form of: Personal days, Volunteer days, Exam/Study Time, Jury Duty and starting at 3 weeks of vacation per year Working for an employer who is regularly recognized as one of Canada’s best employers such as Kincentric 2024 What the Role Entails: Provide service for on-going client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessments, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals Professionally handle phone inquiries and provide exceptional customer service in a structured call centre setting, resolving issues promptly Sell new policies and generate new business for existing or new clients, while retaining the existing book of business Contact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policies Prepare documentation for insurers, complete client applications, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals Stay updated on underwriting rules and workflow processes Actively engage in training initiatives and participate in community marketing activities The Successful Candidate will have: High School and or Post-Secondary Education Minimum 1-year Personal Insurance experience preferred RIBO License preferred Exposure to Epic is an asset Strong customer focus Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French is preferred Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
