We’re looking for our next strategic and collaborative Senior People & Culture Business Partner to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the Vice President, People & Culture, you’ll be providing high-impact support to leaders across the organization—driving workforce planning, talent development, and organizational change while serving as a trusted advisor on employee relations and engagement. A day in the life as a Senior People & Culture Business Partner: Responsibilities Strategic Workforce Planning – Collaborate with leaders to identify talent needs and align workforce planning with business goals, ensuring the organization is future-ready. Employee Relations & Engagement – Advise leaders on employee issues, performance management, and engagement strategies to foster a productive and inclusive workplace. Talent Development – Support career development, succession planning, and performance optimization initiatives that empower employees and strengthen leadership pipelines. Change Management – Partner with leadership to drive organizational change and ensure smooth implementation of new processes and initiatives. Business Insight & Analytics – Leverage HR metrics and trends to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decisions. Policy & Compliance – Ensure business units operate in alignment with P&C policies, employment law, and organizational values. Escalation Point – Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point for complex employee relations, performance, or organizational issues. Strategic Alignment – Align the Business Partner function with organizational priorities and ensure delivery of impactful P&C support. Qualifications & Personal Attributes 3–5 years of direct experience in HR or People & Culture, including business partnering and employee relations. Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Social Psychology. CHRP/CHRL or CPHR is a nice-to-have. Knowledge of Ontario Employment Law & Compliance, including ESA, Human Rights Code, OHSA, and labour relations basics. Experience with workforce planning, performance management, talent development, succession planning, and organizational design. Experience with HRIS, ATS, performance management platforms, and engagement tools. Familiar with HR metrics, dashboards, and analytics for data-informed decisions. Proven ability to influence without authority, provide guidance on sensitive issues, and lead with empathy and strategic insight. Willingness to occasionally travel; valid passport with no travel restrictions that limit crossing Canada/USA and Vietnam if required. Thrives in an agile, collaborative environment and enjoys projects that develop leadership skills. This role will require you to work in our office located in Cambridge two days a week.
