We’re looking for a Store Manager for our The Shoe Co. banner who will put their best foot forward. As a Store Manager at The Shoe Co., you will report to the District Manager and lead the store environment, fostering inclusivity and diverse customer connections. Your role includes coaching and leading the team to achieve store objectives, which encompasses in‑store sales, web orders, recruiting, performance management, training, and development. Problem solving, thriving in a fast‑paced environment, leading a dynamic team, and executing on operational excellence will be key to your success. Responsibilities Assume a leadership role with accountability for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences. Facilitate achievement of business results by role‑modeling a shopping experience that encourages responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity. Lead an operationally sound business by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling. Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who have a love of shoes. Achieve company objectives and enhance The Shoe Co. brand image by modeling our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/Humility. Develop and implement agile business plans to achieve results. Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district. Maintain effective, open lines of communication with Senior Operational Managers. Qualifications Relevant post‑secondary education. Minimum 4 years of progressive retail supervisory experience. Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets in large‑volume top‑door stores. Positive and energetic team player with strong leadership capability. Proven ability to motivate others. Proficiency in computer use, including e‑mail, MS Word or other word‑processing programs, and Excel or other spreadsheet programs. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while committed to creating a compelling customer experience. Availability to work days, closing shifts, and weekends.
