Regional Director of Business Development Randstad, the world’s leading partner for talent, is seeking an exceptional Business Development leader ready to make the definitive leap to a strategic, directorial role. You will transition from transactional selling to strategic market capture across Ontario’s high‑potential mid‑market and strategic account landscape, driving significant revenue and expanding Randstad’s footprint. What you get to do: Successfully prospect and generate revenue from regional accounts at the highest level through executive calls, visits, presentations, and delivery of top‑tier value‑added programs. Develop new threads of revenue and increase overall revenue growth through new account penetration. Attain overall revenue goals, increase account share, develop high‑level business contacts, and achieve margin and profitability goals. Manage prospect account activities, coordinate city‑level Account Managers, and assert complete ownership of the overall prospect relationship at designated national accounts. Develop recruitment strategy for prospective clients, emphasizing an integrated approach to recruitment. What you need to bring: Proven sales history of hunting, qualifying and closing new logos in the human capital and staffing solutions industry. Recent experience working in the professional and/or operational verticals (e.g., F&A, Business Admin, skill trades, M&L, engineering). 3+ years of demonstrated B2B business development and/or client account expansion success in the GTA market with exposure to complex and long sales cycles. Proven success in a very fast‑paced, team environment. Agility to fully leverage all processes and technology tools to more productively deliver results. Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills. Ability to make decisions, take direction, and execute a plan.
