Senior Compliance Specialist Pay range: $80‑$140 / hr (contract, 15+ hrs/week). Remote, based in the U.S., U.K., CA or R.O.C. 4+ years full‑time experience as a Compliance Officer required. Mercor is a lead staffing partner for AI research labs, headquartered in San Francisco with investors like Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers and Jack Dorsey. Position: Compliance Officer Type: Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 15+ hours per week Role Responsibilities: Design questions related to your occupation as a Compliance Officer for a top AI company. Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines. Ensure all tasks align with industry standards and project goals. Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance project outcomes. Adapt to varying weekly workloads while maintaining quality. Must‑Have Qualifications: 4+ years full‑time work experience as a Compliance Officer. Must be based in the U.S., U.K., or Canada. Have access to a desktop or laptop computer (no Chromebooks). Compensation & Legal: At‑will contractor to Mercor. Paid weekly via Stripe Connect based on logged hours.
