Consultant, Application Support – Join CIBC to bring modern banking solutions to clients. What You'll Be Doing As a Consultant, Application Support, you will elicit requirements from stakeholders, create Business and Functional Requirement documents, participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), prepare training and draft communications for end‑users. You’ll be accountable for end‑to‑end delivery of medium to large initiatives (new changes/enhancements) in a multi‑platform environment in compliance with applicable methodologies, standards, policies, and processes. You will provide guidance and direction to junior team members and troubleshoot end‑users’ production issues, evaluating and actioning service requests, and taking corrective action in accordance with documented service standards. How You'll Succeed Business analysis – Participate in the documentation of Business, Solution, or Maintenance Requirements on small to medium size initiatives, ensuring clarity and detail. End‑user support – Provide 2nd level end‑user support, understand and articulate issues, work with impacted parties to determine solutions, and complete end‑user profile set‑ups in the applications. Relationship management – Manage relationships with Business and Technology Partners; translate detailed requirements into business language and scope. Who you are Experience in lending, credit writing, adjudication, credit analytics, or credit risk systems; proficiency with Agile or Waterfall and Application Development. Client‑first mindset, engaged with purpose, going the extra mile. Adept at turning data into meaning, investigating problems, and communicating detailed information effectively.
