Our client, a rapidly growing, category-defining industry leader, is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join its leadership team. What You’ll Do As a key member of the core leadership team, you will be a strategic partner, providing financial guidance and oversight across the organization. You will be responsible for: Strategic Leadership : Partner with the CEO and shareholders to shape financial strategy and long-term planning. Develop KPIs, dashboards, and forecasting tools to enhance decision-making. Budgeting and Capital Planning : Work across the organization to update the operational and financial budget, presenting it both internally and to other stakeholders. Functional Execution : Lead a small team that performs core functions such as financial statement preparation, cash flow & treasury, contract administration, and ongoing tax reporting. External Relationships : Ownership of the relationship with lenders as well as tax advisors and auditor. Department Evolution : Lead continued evolution of the company’s financial systems, policies and procedures, and corporate structuring. Team Leadership : Lead and manage a team of internal resources, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing culture. Who You Are You are an energetic finance executive with a proven track record of success in a fast-growing environment. You are highly hands‑on, dynamic, adaptable, and possess leadership skills. You can integrate seamlessly into an existing team and contribute positively to its performance and culture. You have a deep understanding of financial operations, strategic planning, and stakeholder management. Qualifications CPA designation with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in finance, with strong forward progression in your career. Strong understanding of financial operations, financial modeling and strategic planning. Proficiency in financial systems and tools – strong Excel skills are a must. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
