What You’ll Do Oversee the full purchasing cycle for toys, games, collectibles, and specialty merchandise Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, distributors, and manufacturers Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maximize profitability Monitor inventory levels and sales trends to plan restocks and new product acquisitions Collaborate with merchandising and retail teams to ensure timely product distribution Review purchase orders for accuracy and ensure prompt processing Analyze product performance and lifecycle to guide purchasing decisions Track shipments and resolve delivery or product discrepancies Research emerging trends, products, and suppliers to expand our offerings Coordinate with accounting and warehouse teams on invoicing and receiving What You Bring 4+ years of purchasing or buying experience, ideally in retail (experience with toys, collectibles, or pop culture products is a plus) Proficiency in NetSuite is required Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems Excellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail capabilities Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment A genuine passion for games, toys, and pop culture is a big plus Why Join Mind Games?
