The Vice President, Finance and Operations (VPFO) is a key member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the President. As Chief Financial Officer and Business Development Officer, the VPFO provides strategic leadership to ensure the university’s financial health, operational efficiency, and long‑term sustainability. This role oversees Financial Services, Human Resources, Facilities Management, Information Technology, and Conference and Food Services, while also contributing to campus development and new revenue generation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute financial and operational strategies aligned with the university’s mission and strategic plan. Ensure excellence in financial management, risk mitigation, and capital planning. Foster a high‑performance, healthy workplace culture. Manage physical assets and IT infrastructure to support student‑centered operations. Serve as liaison to government, financial institutions, and other postsecondary organizations. Qualifications Master’s degree in business administration, preferably with a CPA designation. 5–10 years of senior financial and administrative leadership experience, ideally within a postsecondary context. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Commitment to King’s mission and values. Experience in facilities and project management is considered an asset.
