Position: Industrial Engineer Type: Independent Contractor Compensation: $75–$150/hour Location: US, UK, or Canada Duration: 3–4 weeks Commitment: 15+ hours/week Role Responsibilities Design questions related to Industrial Engineering for AI research projects. Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance question quality and relevance. Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines. Ensure questions align with industry standards and professional practices. Utilize your professional experience to contribute to AI advancements. Qualifications Must-Have 4+ years full-time work experience as an Industrial Engineer. Be based in the US, UK, or Canada. Access to a desktop or laptop computer (no Chromebooks). Compensation & Legal Industry-standard compensation expectations will be met. Paid weekly via Stripe Connect based on logged hours. Classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor. Cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
