Our client in the Engineering Industry is currently looking for an Overhead Crane Technician on a permanent basis to join their growing team.


What we offer:

  • Location: Bolton, Ontario - Work will be 90% on the road
  • Reporting to: Location Manager
  • Work Hours: Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 5 PM (overtime pay for any workday over 8 hours of work)
  • Salary: $57, 314 to $103, 521– company truck – 3 weeks’ vacation – RRSP Program
  • Permanent Full time, with benefits


What you do:

  • Communicate regularly with customers to gather information related to technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/air components used on cranes.
  • Perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and proper working order of cranes.
  • Review technical inquiries of customers to recommend possible solutions related to the operation or maintenance.
  • Answer service calls.
  • Perform cold calling to attract new customers.
  • Being proactive & proposing good technical solution to increase customer equipment durability,
  • Reliability, productivity & safety
  • Maintain Inventory


Who are you:

  • Electromechanical Engineering Technician program or equivalent degree.
  • Electrical License such as 442A, Journeyman Electrician or Red seal is an asset.
  • 2 years' experience as a Technician on Overhead Cranes.
  • 2 years’ experience on Scissor Lift or Zoom Boom is an asset.
  • Previous Heights Training an asset.
  • 1-2 years of PLC knowledge and experience is an asset.
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical skills.
  • At least 3 years of related work experience.
  • Driver license G
  • Welding experience, an asset
