Job Title Procurement Manager – S&T Department Procurement & Supply Chain Industry Railway / Metro / EPC Experience Required 2–3 Years Employment Type Full-time Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Manager – S&T with 2–3 years of experience in Railway, Metro, or EPC companies. The role involves handling procurement activities related to signalling and telecom materials, vendor coordination, purchase order management, and ensuring timely material availability for projects. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement for Signalling and Telecom (S&T) materials, equipment, and project supplies. Identify and evaluate vendors/suppliers as per railway/metro/EPC specifications. Prepare, review, and issue RFQs, comparative statements, and Purchase Orders. Coordinate with engineering, project, and stores teams to understand material requirements. Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project timelines. Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and service agreements with suppliers. Verify technical compliance of materials with S&T standards and project specifications. Track, monitor, and maintain procurement MIS, PO trackers, and delivery schedules. Coordinate with finance for invoice processing, vendor payments, and documentation. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, statutory guidelines, and safety norms. Support audits by maintaining documentation such as POs, quotations, BOQs, and vendor records. Key Requirements Graduate/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. 2–3 years of experience in procurement within Railway, Metro, or EPC companies. Strong understanding of S&T materials, signalling equipment, telecom components, and relevant specifications. Exposure to railway procurement norms, RDSO/Railway standards, and vendor ecosystem. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Keka or similar). Strong negotiation, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage procurement timelines. Preferred Qualifications Experience in sourcing vendors for S&T projects (IR, Metro, DFCC, EPC). Knowledge of tendering, BOQ review, and technical-commercial evaluations.
