This role blends analytical rigor with business acumen and executive presence, supporting decision‑making across the organization through tailored insights and scalable data solutions. What you’ll do: Draw interpretable insights through sophisticated business analyses and advanced modeling from a range of data sources / systems (operations, sales data, etc.) and shape them into compelling narratives to influence business decisions. Design processes, tools, and operating cadences to achieve organizational outcomes to ensure actionability of insights Lead the design and delivery of custom reports and dashboards that address complex, cross‑functional business needs. Develop and optimize queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple systems and sources. Maintain and enhance analytics frameworks and work systems, ensuring data integrity, performance, and usability. Collaborate with executive business leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into actionable insights. Present actionable insights and recommendations with clarity and confidence. Support and champion balanced scorecard methodologies to align performance metrics and strategic objectives up, down, and across the organization. Build consultative relationships across departments to gain a deep understanding of core operations and transformational initiatives, with a view toward potential future opportunities. Manage progress of strategic initiatives on behalf of 1–2 functional groups e.g., Commercial, Operations, Supply & Optimization, Corporate Functions, as part of broader Transformation. Perform other related duties as assigned. What you bring: Post‑secondary education or Professional Certification in Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of relevant professional work experience, Energy industry experience considered an asset. Structured problem‑solving skills, combined with strong business acumen. Proven experience in business analysis, reporting, and data management. Proficiency with relational database management e.g., SQL, and hands‑on experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically, connecting data to business outcomes. Exceptional consultative and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
