We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager, Mid-Market, who will leverage their financial knowledge, interpersonal skills, and networking strengths to support entrepreneurs in the Fraser Valley (Surrey, Delta and Langley) with customized Financing and Advisory solutions. Focusing on businesses with sales between $3M and $50M, you will work closely with business owners to understand their needs and work with internal partners to deliver solutions that allow the entrepreneurs to improve and grow their businesses. What you would do / Responsibilities Create and execute your action plan, aligned with the Business Centre's objectives, to ensure growth and retention of current clients in your portfolio while acquiring new clients and building a self-sourced, sustainable business opportunity pipeline. Connect with local business professionals and the business community to develop trusted relationships and obtain referrals that lead to new opportunities. Be actively present and involved with the local business community by networking with associations and chambers of commerce to develop business relationships and obtain referrals for new client acquisition. Showcase analytical and negotiation skills while applying strong credit judgment when creating and presenting financing proposals that meet the requirements of both the entrepreneur and BDC. What We Are Looking For / Qualifications A bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration. A keen interest in entrepreneurship with a solid understanding of a wide variety of business models. Between 3 and 5 years of relevant client-facing experience in commercial banking. A demonstrated ability in business development with a systematic and disciplined approach; identifying potential customers and developing follow-up strategies. Strategic listening, effective communication, and the ability to persuade and influence people from diverse backgrounds. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to understand market trends and leverage expertise to exceed client expectations. Team player who builds lasting and trusting relationships with peers, business contacts, and external partners. Ability to drive negotiations and partnerships with businesses and decision makers at high levels. Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of services. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
