We're looking for a Junior Hydrogeologist with a specialization in groundwater modelling to join our Ontario Hydrogeology Team, located in one of our GTA (Toronto/Mississauga/Kitchener/Barrie) or Ottawa, ON offices. You will provide numerical modelling support for various hydrogeological, environmental, and engineering investigations related to multi-disciplinary development projects. Support the development and implementation of numerical groundwater flow models for a wide range of projects. Compile field and/or other data for interpretation and analysis. Work with intermediate and senior hydrogeologists to provide technical services related to both mining and infrastructure-related projects. Provide technical support and complete hydrogeological analysis, visualizations, and aid in the development of conceptual site models. Prepare technical documents and reports. Assist more senior staff with the development and preparation of project proposals. What you’ll bring to WSP: A Master's degree (or equivalent education) in Hydrogeology, Environmental/Earth Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or similar program. Eligibility to register as either a Geoscientist-In-Training (GIT), Engineer-In-Training (EIT), Certified Technician (C.Tech.), or Certified Engineering Technician (CET) in the Province of Ontario. Experience with hydrogeological analysis and the development and application of numerical modelling tools/approaches in groundwater. Experience using MODFLOW, FEFLOW, HydroGeoSphere, etc. Experience using Python, SQL for data analysis. An unrestricted full Class G Driver’s License (or equivalent) that is valid in the province of Ontario. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the MS Office suite of products.
