The mission we are proposing: We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of R&D Manager.Reporting to the R&D Director, the R&D Manager will oversee and coordinate new product development projects, working closely with clients and internal teams. The role involves ensuring efficient execution at each stage of development, meeting technical, regulatory, budget, and timeline requirements. This position contributes to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, while fostering effective communication among stakeholders. An overview of your new position Plan, coordinate, and oversee the entire lifecycle of R&D projects, from client brief to production transfer. Assess the feasibility of client requests considering manufacturing capacity, regulatory complexity, costs, and timelines. Develop and monitor project timelines, ensuring proper resource allocation at each phase. Promote cross-functional collaboration among departments such as formulation, engineering, purchasing, regulatory, quality, and production. Participate in product development meetings to align technical and business objectives. Represent the R&D department in communications with clients and partners. Ensure all documentation (formulas, specifications, costing, stability reports, etc.) is complete, validated, and archived correctly. Maintain data integrity within management systems (e.g., AS/400). Provide clients with necessary documentation and follow up on change requests or non-conformances. Generate monthly KPIs to monitor project and process efficiency. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize timelines, quality, and profitability. Foster a collaborative work environment focused on innovation and operational excellence. Support team development through knowledge sharing and best practices. Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned by the R&D Director.
