Key Responsibilities Create and maintain documentation: Write clear, concise, and accurate documentation for products, features, and internal processes. Collaborate with teams: Work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure documentation is technically accurate and user-friendly. Edit and review content: Proofread and edit documents for grammar, clarity, consistency, and adherence to the style guidelines. Organize information: Structure documentation for easy navigation and comprehension, using best practices in information architecture. Update documentation: Revise existing documents to reflect product updates, process changes, and feedback from users and stakeholders. Advocate for documentation quality: Promote the importance of clear documentation and contribute to documentation standards and best practices at Meta. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience in technical writing, documentation, or content creation, preferably in a technology or software environment. Programming knowledge (preferred in Javascript/C++) to provide reference/foundational content to supplement the tutorial and how-to content Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, user-friendly documentation. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience with documentation tools (e.g., Google Docs, Wiki platforms). Preferred Qualifications Experience or knowledge with the gaming development or industry would be a huge plus but not mandatory. Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Knowledge of software development processes and terminology. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Experience with visual communication (diagrams, screenshots, videos).
