Integration Specialist - Fiix Software Join us at Rockwell Automation as an Integration Specialist, leveraging the Fiix ownership and the Boomi platform to connect applications and data streams for seamless operational efficiency. Role Overview As an Integration Specialist, you will design, develop, and maintain Boomi integrations, collaborating with technical and project teams to meet requirements, deliver scalable workflows, and troubleshoot across environments. Major Responsibilities Develop Boomi integrations following best practices and the Functional Design Document (FDD). Review customer data to ensure alignment with documented design and integration assumptions. Identify and communicate new or evolving requirements. Deploy integrations to test and production environments in coordination with the team. Create and maintain mapping specifications for all integration process flows. Define and document validation steps, logging, and alerting mechanisms. Outline and document potential expansion options within the integration scope. Develop test plans and test cases to validate functionality and ensure successful delivery. The Essentials – Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Legal authorization to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship). Preferred – Desired Experience Minimum 5 years of hands‑on system integration experience, especially with Boomi and API‑based solutions. Experience building scalable, reusable integration frameworks with Fiix or similar platforms. Clear communication of technical requirements to customers across project phases. Experience with Atom/Molecule setup, sizing, architecture, and deployment planning. Familiarity with change‑control processes and escalation to pre‑sales or architectural roles. Ability to troubleshoot issues and optimize integration performance. Strong documentation skills for data mapping, API behavior, and integration limitations. Level 3 support for integration‑related escalations. Bonus: exposure to SAP Integration Suite, PI/PO, SAP HANA, or NetSuite. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
