We’re looking for a Licensed Automotive Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on compact cars, domestic vehicles, and light-duty fleets. This full-time, permanent role is based in our Dauphin , MB store. Quality leadership, training, and opportunities for advancement Benefits: dental, vision, prescription, massage therapy, EAP, profit sharing, RRSP matching, and paid vacation Comprehensive paid training and cross-training opportunities Employee discounts on tires and services Salary: $34.67/Hour with a clear wage progression path Day to Day Responsibilities Perform general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance Mentor and coach apprentices in a supportive, learning-focused environment Collaborate with a skilled team on vehicles from standard passenger cars to light trucks Assist in identifying mechanical opportunities with the Sales team Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality Qualifications Fully licensed Automotive Service Technician Valid driver’s license Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignment Skilled in inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, service, and repair on various vehicles Excellent attention to detail with a methodical problem-solving approach Kal Tire is committed to fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to thrive.
