University of Toronto Talent Connect (January 15 & 16, 2026) – Full Time Applicants Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 per week Line of Business: Technology Solutions Pay: $59,500 – $84,000 CAD Application period: December 2 – December 14, 2025. Event: January 15 & 16, 2026. Interviews: January 16, 2026. Purpose & Scope Invite‑only recruitment event for University of Toronto students graduating in the next four months. Participants will network with TD business representatives and have the opportunity to interview for Software Engineering and Business Systems Analyst positions. Software Engineer – Full Time Develop new solutions and prototypes for engineering programs and projects. Participate in concept and logical engineering designs to advance the portfolio. Analyze technical requirements and recommend engineering solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders and internal technology partners to meet technical direction, performance, time‑to‑market and innovation goals. Contribute to enterprise and line‑of‑business engineering strategies. Respond to routine or standard requests from internal and external customers. Qualifications – Software Engineer University or postgraduate degree (e.g., computer science, engineering). Strong academic background. 1–2 years relevant experience. Basic working knowledge of engineering frameworks, tools and processes. Understanding of relationships between work processes and business, and awareness of associated costs. Document and verify system components, applications and infrastructure. Monitor product lifecycles to ensure specifications support business objectives. Business Systems Analyst – Full Time Research and analyze current system processes to define technology recommendations. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine solutions and manage integration. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, ensuring traceability. Support testing teams in translating requirements into test conditions. Provide support and guidance in technology delivery with a focus on quality, reusability, scalability, and innovation. Promote innovation by applying subject‑matter expertise to generate forward‑thinking ideas. May provide operational or process‑related analysis support. Qualifications – Business Systems Analyst Basic knowledge of system analysis processes and techniques. Basic understanding of systems, applications, interfaces, data flows, and business rules. Basic knowledge of enterprise technology delivery practices and standards. Contributes to requirements management for low‑complexity initiatives. Contributes to risk identification and problem resolution. Works under guidance and supervision; reports to a Manager or Practice Lead. Undergraduate degree or technical certificate. 1–2 years relevant experience. Application & Next Steps Applications must include a resume (maximum of 2 pages).
