Founded in 2003, our client provides print management and assessment software along with a host of training, business development, and support programs for dealers and distributors in the imaging and managed print services industries. Available in 5 languages, this software solution empowers dealers in over 20 countries to entrench their customer relationships and provide total print management solutions for their clients. Globally, our client's network of dealers has more print and imaging devices under management than any other technology and manages in excess of 2.5 billion pages monthly. Their customers are multinational companies with revenue in the billions. They are a global leader in Managed Print Solutions Technology and experience substantial growth year over year. Job Description: Reporting to the Director, Development, the Senior Software Developer designs, develops and supervises the technical aspects of PrintFleet Enterprise Projects. They are also responsible for the derivation of technical requirements, design and implementation of solutions for products/features. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Self-motivated, good initiative and able to work independently as well as within a team to deliver a quality product on time. Designs and develops programming components. Participates actively in product design process. Interacts with Customer Support Team. Interacts closely with Product Development team members to collaborate on new feature implementation and issue resolution. Plans and performs tasks for current and future projects. Produces technical documentation. Provides Tier 3 troubleshooting and occasional Tier 1 troubleshooting. Demonstrates projects to Sales Department and clients, usually through conference calls or e-mail exchange. Works closely with Quality Assurance on issue identification and resolution and clarifies product requirements to define test cases. Consults with Technical Support on product behaviour and provides assistance on complicated customer issue resolution. Communicates with hardware vendors regarding any questions, requirements and specifications and implements findings. Performs research on new technologies and tools available. Implements & enforces best practices in coding and unit testing. Expert-level .NET. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Software development or related field. Excellent understanding of .NET, Java, and/or similar languages. 5+ years of experience building production level software. Experience working with ASP.NET. Expert understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript, and experience using jQuery or similar framework. Excellent Graphic design and/or usability skills. Excellent problem-solving skills and deep understanding of OOP principles. Understands browser/client specific compatibility issues. Fluency in a second language an asset. Consistently delivers high-quality software. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of document output segment, including knowledge of management of Print Devices. Experience using test driven development methodologies. Experience in Agile Methodologies and Tools. Experience with database design and development. Good understanding of communication protocols and frameworks such as TCP, HTTP, SOAP and WCF. #J-18808-Ljbffr
