Position: Procurement Consultant – Market/Financial Data Job ID#: DLTJP Duration: 12 Months Position Overview We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our Technology Procurement team on a temporary basis, with potential for permanent placement. This role focuses on contracting activities within the Market/Financial Data category, requiring strong negotiation skills, stakeholder management, and expertise in sourcing and procurement processes. Ideal candidates will have experience in large, complex organizations and a solid understanding of supplier contracts and market data providers. Business Unit CoRe Procurement – one of seven global shared services supporting the global network of member firms. Roles and Responsibilities Apply Market/Financial Data category knowledge to shape business requirements for contracts and purchases. Manage and coordinate contracting discussions, serving as liaison between Business Requester, Supplier, Office of General Counsel, Risk, and other stakeholders. Negotiate pricing and commercial terms using category expertise to achieve beneficial results. Navigate across SMEs and teams to gain cross-functional input and facilitate decisions. Work effectively with leadership-level stakeholders. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree required; Procurement certification preferred. Experience 3–8 years of Procurement and/or Market Data experience. Full-time employment within job history strongly desired. Skills Knowledge of Market Data category (minimum 1 year), familiar with major suppliers (e.g., Moody’s, Dow Jones, Factiva, Dun & Bradstreet, S&P, MergerMarket, Bloomberg). Strong background in sourcing, contracting, and procurement processes. Understanding of supplier contracts and experience negotiating various templates. Experience in large, complex organizations; global experience highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate between legal, business, and other stakeholders. Highly organized, able to manage multiple simultaneous contracting efforts. Skilled in virtual teaming and hybrid work environments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
