The average compensation for this role is $60,000-$80,000.00 CAD We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our global IT team and help design, develop, and support innovative solutions for our homegrown ERP platform. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery—using both story-driven and data-driven analysis to solve complex challenges. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to translate requirements into robust, automated solutions, leveraging your skills in Java, SQL, Python , and modern software architecture.

This position offers the opportunity to work on global-scale projects , enhance system functionality, and improve process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements within your domain, using both narrative and data-driven approaches. Design comprehensive technical solutions—covering conceptual, logical, and physical aspects. Apply expertise in software development (Java, SQL, Python), database design , and software architecture (REST APIs, event-driven, distributed systems). Collaborate with business and IT partners to clarify requirements and ensure solutions align with organizational goals.

Support solution implementation through DevOps practices, including monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and debugging. Assist with data analysis prototypes, data migration tasks, and integration projects under guidance. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize ERP performance and scalability.

Qualifications

& Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related field.

Experience

1–3 years in a relevant technical or analytical role. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to execute instructions and seek clarification when needed. Intermediate proficiency in relevant computer systems and applications. Excellent communication skills—able to present ideas clearly in English (and local/regional language if applicable).

Ability to adapt to change, work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and ethical standards. Comfortable with extended computer or headset use during work hours.

Responsabilités

principales Analyser les exigences d’affaires dans votre domaine, en utilisant des approches narratives et basées sur les données. Concevoir des solutions techniques complètes — couvrant les aspects conceptuels, logiques et physiques. Mettre à profit votre expertise en développement logiciel (Java, SQL, Python), conception de bases de données et architecture logicielle (API REST, systèmes événementiels, systèmes distribués). Collaborer avec les partenaires d’affaires et les équipes TI pour clarifier les exigences et assurer l’alignement des solutions avec les objectifs organisationnels.

Soutenir la mise en œuvre des solutions grâce aux pratiques DevOps, incluant la surveillance, la journalisation, le dépannage et le débogage. Participer à la création de prototypes d’analyse de données, aux tâches de migration de données et aux projets d’intégration, sous supervision. Contribuer aux initiatives d’amélioration continue afin d’optimiser la performance et l’évolutivité de l’ERP.

Qualifications

et compétences Formation : Baccalauréat en informatique, technologies de l’information, mathématiques ou dans un domaine connexe. Expérience : 1 à 3 ans dans un rôle technique ou analytique pertinent. Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes, avec la capacité d’exécuter des instructions et de demander des précisions au besoin. Maîtrise intermédiaire des systèmes et applications informatiques pertinents.

Excellentes aptitudes en communication — capable de présenter clairement des idées en anglais (et dans la langue locale/régionale, si applicable). Capacité à s’adapter au changement, à travailler sous pression et à gérer plusieurs priorités. Grande attention aux détails, respect de la confidentialité et des normes éthiques.
