We value experience in schematic capture, PCB layout tools, simulation (analog, digital, video, signal integrity) and power supply design. In particular, you would be a good fit if you have 5+ years of experience in detailed hardware design, can proficiently operate general lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies and waveform generators, and have a passion for embedded design, including microcontrollers, memory interfaces, FPGA, PCle Video, serial interfaces, and military/aerospace/automotive applications. Qualifications Must have 5 years of PCB design experience. Preferably in rugged electronics design field. Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering skills Proficiency in Electricity and Power Distribution Experience in Power Systems Certification experience in relevant standards (e.g., DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD) Knowledge of CAD tools like Altium, Allegro/Cadence, Mentor Graphics, KiCad Experience with industry leading tools for hardware/software solutions Ability to work independently and collaboratively Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Work in Ottawa utilizes a secure, closed AI environment for the initial screening of resumes, ensuring your data remains safe while helping us efficiently identify top candidates.
