Ecommerce Specialist Base Pay Range: $70,000 – $75,000 per year Location: Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada Schedule: Hybrid – 2 days in office (Tuesday & Wednesday) Employment Type: Full-time Seniority Level: Associate Job Function: Quality Assurance, Marketing, Strategy & Planning We’re looking for an Operations & eCommerce Specialist with strong Shopify knowledge, technical problem‑solving skills, and a data‑driven mindset. This role is responsible for maintaining excellent website functionality, supporting Shopify content updates, managing analytics integrity, and partnering with developers and vendors on technical projects. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying improvements and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Run daily, weekly, and ongoing QA tests to ensure the website functions correctly across all devices and user flows Support Shopify content updates in partnership with the eCommerce coordinator Troubleshoot website issues and coordinate resolutions with developers Manage technical collaborations with developers, including scoping, timelines, and testing Audit and maintain Shopify apps; recommend optimizations or consolidation Lead CRO initiatives, including A/B test setup, monitoring, and documentation Contribute to SEO maintenance and ongoing improvement Ensure compliance with privacy requirements related to website tools, cookies, and tracking Track industry best practices and emerging opportunities (e.g., AI shopping tools, new apps, functionality updates) and recommend relevant enhancements Maintain data accuracy across GA4, Lifetimely, Shopify, and other analytics platforms Aggregate and format data from marketing platforms; support ad‑hoc reporting needs across the team Build and maintain dashboards that visualize performance across major channels Work within A/B testing platforms and assist in documenting findings and conclusions Pull insights from data and make clear recommendations Act as a point of contact with technical partners and developers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project requirements Qualifications 3+ years in eCommerce operations, Shopify management, technical QA, analytics, or a similar role Proficiency in Shopify, GA4, analytics tools, A/B testing platforms, Excel, Google Sheets SQL and data visualization experience Basic coding knowledge (HTML, Liquid, CSS) Strong analytical skills: ensuring data accuracy, creating clean visualizations Detail‑oriented with a QA mindset; disciplined approach to testing and documentation Problem‑solving: resourceful, proactive, able to troubleshoot independently Excellent communication: clear, concise across technical and non‑technical audiences Curiosity: actively brings forward new tools, capabilities, and ideas to improve website and analytics performance #J-18808-Ljbffr
