Role and Facility Information Cariboo Memorial Hospital Cariboo Memorial is under renovation with planned completion in 2026. It is a Level 2 Community Hospital with 28 inpatient beds, offering ER, OR, Med‑Surg, and Obstetrical units, along with lab, diagnostic imaging, and outpatient Hemodialysis on site. The redevelopment includes an addition of 25 in‑patient beds for a total of 53, a new emergency department, and a mental‑health unit. Practice Details Our current OB‑GYN team is looking for two full‑time OB‑GYNs to join Cariboo Memorial Hospital. Physician services include Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, and a full‑service family practice. Visiting specialists provide Radiology, Ophthalmology, and ENT. Opportunities exist to teach and engage learners across disciplines. Compensation Alternative Payment Arrangement – Estimated Remuneration Competitive (inquire for details) Physician Overhead – % share of clinic overhead costs Benefits and Incentives Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) potential remuneration: Retention Premium 12.32% Retention Flat Fee $19,092 Relocation Funding $9k‑$15k Recruitment Incentive $15k (based on 1.0 FTE) Other Rural Incentives subject to change, rates confirmed at offer BC or Canada loan forgiveness programs for eligible students living and working in a rural community Requirements The position is covered by the Provincial Health Officer’s mandatory COVID‑19 vaccination order; selected applicant(s) must comply with the order’s requirements.
