The Credit and Collections Manager is responsible for managing the Credit process including assessing client creditworthiness approving/declining based on assessment, and managing the AR team.   • Experience working with lien rights and bonds is essential
  • Certified Credit Professional (CCP) Designation required


About the Opportunity:

  • Evaluate customer credit applications and set credit limits.
  • Implement processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables.
  • Oversee accounts receivable collections.
  • Monitor daily pending customer orders.
  • Maintain files for 1,500 customer accounts.
  • Attend monthly sales and credit meetings.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable Department operations and staff.
  • Perform month-end duties and advise Finance on doubtful accounts.
  • Execute other related tasks as needed.


About You:

  • Certified Credit Professional designation from Canada
  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of construction bonds and lien rights
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in negotiating payment schedules
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar software
  • Ability to adapt in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Effective communication skills
