Solutions Architect Location: Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada | Posted: 1 month ago Contract Duration: 1.5 years (possibility of extension) Qualification Requirements Minimum of eight (8) years of experience working in technical Information Technology roles within complex enterprise environments. Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing solution architectures on projects across n-tiered platforms. Expert knowledge of Information Architecture principles and techniques, data management, data integration, and data quality platforms and tools. Experience in Enterprise Solution Leadership, leading architecture and governance across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and ERP ecosystems, ensuring scalability, reusability, and alignment with business objectives. Minimum 5+ enterprise Dynamics projects delivered end to end. Experience in ERP & Dynamics GP expertise with deep functional and technical knowledge of financials, supply chain, and data migration patterns between Dynamics GP and modern Dynamics 365 environments. Minimum 2+ GP/F&O projects delivered end to end. Expert knowledge and experience in Dynamics CRM and Platforms. Expert knowledge in at least one enterprise ETL tool. Experience with Center of Excellence (COE) Management including establishing best practices, ALM processes, and innovation frameworks to standardize delivery and empower cross‑functional teams. Minimum 3+ years managing or contributing to a Dynamics or Power Platform COE. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service and/or experience with Salesforce Service Cloud CRM Platforms. Experience with Low Code platforms associated with the above CRM solutions. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working architecting solutions involving complex integration scenarios (multi‑platform, competing technologies, SaaS and PaaS, Software as a Service). Strategic, People, and Procurement Leadership which involves mentoring architects and developers, drives stakeholder alignment, and provides executive guidance on technology strategy, procurement, and vendor management. Experienced in leading RFP responses, drafting and evaluating Statements of Work, negotiating technical contracts, and guiding organizations through complex multistage government or enterprise procurement processes. Minimum 5+ years leading solution design and procurement engagements valued over $1M. Experience working with Cloud technologies. Knowledge of Azure Architecture (NSG, Firewall, Monitoring, Subscriptions, Key Vault, Security Controls, Authentication). Knowledge of process re‑engineering principles, requirements gathering, and middleware management. Governance & Continuous Improvement: Oversees change control, project assurance, and performance metrics, ensuring consistent quality and compliance with enterprise and public‑sector standards. Minimum 3+ years applying formal governance frameworks and release management practices within enterprise environments. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple non‑technical terms for various audiences. Ability to adapt to change in dynamically evolving situations.
