Overview As a Solutions Consultant (Presales Engineer) , you’ll help organizations unlock the value of their information using AI-powered solutions. Partnering with Account Executives, you’ll analyze customer business challenges, design tailored OpenText solutions, deliver compelling demos and presentations, and drive smarter decisions and operational efficiency through advanced AI insights. Your technical expertise and storytelling skills will help redefine how companies deliver outstanding digital experiences. What the Role Offers Act as a trusted advisor, positioning OpenText Content Management and Digital Experience solutions to address real business challenges. Collaborate with Strategic Alliance and Partner Managers to align technical strategy and value messaging. Deliver engaging product demonstrations, workshops, and technical deep dives that connect customer pain points to OpenText solutions. Translate technical requirements into meaningful business outcomes through impactful storytelling. Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Global Services teams to shape future solution roadmaps. Represent OpenText at industry events, webinars, and customer engagements as a thought leader in digital transformation. What You Need To Succeed Based in Western Canada with the ability to travel 20–30% of the time for customer engagements. Passion for learning, innovation, and problem-solving with an analytical and creative mindset. 5+ years of presales experience leading customer-facing engagements, including presentations, solution demos, and proof-of-concepts. Working knowledge of Content and Information Management platforms (e.g., OpenText, Microsoft 365) and Customer Communication Platforms (e.g., Exstream, Quadient, Smart Communications). Experience using and selling AI tools and applications. Familiarity with SAP and key business processes such as finance, supply chain, HR, or manufacturing. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) is a plus. Experience working with Global System Integrators (e.g., EY, Deloitte, Accenture) is a strong asset.
