Our offices Where we work At Coactive, we bring together world-class talent from our hub offices San Jose - HQ Montreal Join the Coactive Squad Senior Full Stack Engineer Location Employment Type Full time Department As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be a vital member of our AI Applications team with expertise in Microservices, SDKs and focusing on both frontend and backend development, you will play a pivotal role within our AI Applications team. Leveraging our advanced Multimodal AI Platform (MAP), you’ll bridge the gap between customer success, product development, and engineering to deliver impactful AI-driven solutions. You’ll collaborate closely across multiple teams, serving as the customer facing Tech Lead while becoming an expert and champion of the Coactive platform. What You’ll Do Build, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Vite, React, TypeScript , and Python (FastAPI) . Design and implement RESTful APIs that power internal tools and customer-facing features. Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB , with an understanding of both SQL and NoSQL data modeling. Integrate with or build simple services around vector databases (e.g. pgvector). Collaborate with other engineers and product managers to translate requirements into working software. Deploy and monitor services on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes —you don’t need to be a DevOps expert but should be comfortable checking logs, restarts, and debugging live services. Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to uphold best practices. What we look for: BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Strong experience in building distributed, scalable microservices with Python and FastAPI. Strong understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra). Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience in customer-facing technical roles, such as solutions engineering or SME, is preferred. Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders to develop solutions that drive customer success. Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and executive audiences, including delivering demos and product walkthroughs. Ability to mentor both technical and non-technical team members. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation. Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast paced startup environment, including rapid prototyping, shipping GA (General Availability) products, and scaling solutions from early stage experiments to production ready applications. Experience in building OpenAPI compliant SDKs is highly desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
