Director, Project Planning Services Location: Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada Posted: 2 weeks ago Responsibilities Lead a culture of safety, collaboration, and respect, while fostering an inclusive and high-performance environment Oversee construction preplanning activities, including BIM, VDC, and Revizto workflows, ensuring standardization of processes, tools, and consistency and efficiency in deliverables Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align departmental goals with organizational strategy Continuously evaluate and optimize internal business practices to improve productivity and quality Lead strategic initiatives that enhance preplanning and execution Manage departmental and project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and accurate forecasting Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and industry representative Drive strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to optimize business practices and expand market presence Qualifications Minimum 10 years of previous experience in construction, or a related industry P.Eng., PMP Certification, Gold Seal in Project Management, Project Management Certificate, or equivalent education is ideal Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional teams and driving strategic initiatives Sophisticated knowledge of construction preplanning Strong understanding of BIM, VDC, and project planning technologies Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Deep understanding of construction industry trends, technologies, and best practices If you would like to be considered for this opportunity please forward your resume via email to Nick Paraskeva | Seniority Level Director Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Management Industries Electric Power Generation and Engineering Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
