What You'll Get to Do Help drive frontend architecture to the next stage of Roof’s systems Work in a fast-paced cross-functional team that values doing things “the right way” Contribute to an early-stage company with an engineering-first culture Contribute to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, from planning to delivery Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop technical requirements Write clean code to develop functional web applications and reusable libraries Write unit, functional, and acceptance tests Troubleshoot and support production applications What You'll Bring to the Role 3+ years of experience holding a Senior Engineering title 5+ years of software development experience Champions agile methodologies and enjoys shipping code often and confidently Track record of breaking down complex problems into incremental solutions Proactively recommends initiatives to improve engineering technologies and culture Enjoys collaborating in a learning-focused environment Takes ownership of the product and is proud of the quality of their work Excellent communication skills and value good documentation Understands the challenges of prioritization in an early-stage company Strong experience with JavaScript, React + Redux Experience with SCSS Experience interacting with RESTful APIs Experience building frontend testing and automation systems for unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, and user acceptance tests Compensation Compensation Range: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 CAD What We Offer (US + Canada) When you join our team, you’re making a career move.
