We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst for a 12-month contract position , with possible extensions in Regina, Saskatchewan . Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Hybrid position – 3 days in the office per week, 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. This is NOT a remote role. Role Description The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making. This role involves gathering requirements, developing reports and dashboards, analyzing trends, and collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable information. Responsibilities Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement Translate business questions into data-driven insights and recommendations Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks Document reporting logic, data definitions, and processes Collaborate with technical teams to understand data sources and structures Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing reports and dashboards Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, or similar role Strong experience with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Experience gathering and documenting business requirements Desired Skills and Experience Experience with data modeling concepts and best practices Experience with data warehousing or ETL processes Familiarity with Excel and advanced data analysis techniques Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments Experience in large enterprise or public-sector environments Please note that while all applications are appreciated, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
