As a Long-Term Occasional Teacher (LTO) for DDSB, you’ll create a vibrant and supportive learning environment where students thrive. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and support student learning. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help students grow. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to enhance student learning. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students. Qualifications And Additional Information Required subject qualifications: I/S Business (business technology and grade 10 computers) FTE: 1.0 FTE LTO (Semester One Only) Grade(s)/assignment: Grade 10 and 11 Tentative course codes (if known): BTA301 and IDC201 Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing Please Note External hires can take up to 10 working days to be processed which could affect the start date for this position.
