Base pay range CA$170,000.00/yr - CA$180,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Agilus Work Solutions Sr. Business Development Manager / Sr. IT Recruitment Consultant at Agilus Work Solutions Agilus' client is a global leader in the Financial Services industry and is adding a Cyber Security Risk Director to lead the development of the organization’s cyber security risk posture as part of the second line of defense. This role ensures cyber risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, and monitored across all business units. The Director will be an SME providing strategic advisory support for a comprehensive cyber security risk framework and work closely with stakeholders to strengthen resilience against emerging threats. Key responsibilities include: Oversight of the cyber security risk framework and methodologies, including technical risk reviews and evaluation of initiatives with cyber implications. Lead the Cyber Risk Oversight Program and maintain policies aligned with risk appetite, regulations, and industry standards. Identify and assess cyber risks, advise stakeholders, and monitor external trends to inform strategy. Review and challenge first-line risk management processes and communicate risk opinions to management. Provide leadership during major cyber incidents and coordinate second-line engagement. Deliver regular reporting to senior management and maintain relationships with external experts. What We Are Looking For University degree or equivalent experience. 7+ years in cyber risk, including 5+ years in management. Experience developing cyber risk oversight programs in financial services, preferably in 2nd or 3rd line of defense. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, cyber threats, and risk frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT). Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISM, CISA, CISSP, or CCSP. #J-18808-Ljbffr
