Deskside Support Technician

INTERMEDIATE DESKSIDE SUPPORT SPECIALIST Our New Westminster based client is seeking an Intermediate Deskside Support Specialist to join their team and will work closely with customers resolving tickets, working with vendors of service requests and orders/receives inventory. RESPONSIBILITIES: Receiving tickets in the ITSM tool, consulting with customers to clarify problems and efficiently, analyzing solutions within the established SLA, while providing regular status updates Analyzing and resolving operational service requests as it relates to Hardware and Software asset management Providing alternate solutions to enable customers to remain operational, where an immediate permanent resolution requires further investigation/action Analyzing suitability, compatibility and/or costs for approved desktop, mobile peripherals or applications Answering questions and providing one-on-one customer and/or desk-side support and guidance related to desktop services Resolving tickets on behalf of customers using the defined escalation process, or collaborating with next level teams and/or business units to resolve operational issues and service requests Prioritizing tickets that are being actioned in the ITSM tool and adapting to changing demands & schedules while ensuring the ticket queue is managed according to established procedures 3 month contract (high probability to extend) Rate: $25/hour (some flexibility) Hybrid: 1 day/week in office - other 4 days WFH If you’re interested, please reply with a copy of your updated CV.
