DevOps Engineer

Overview Join to apply for the DevOps Engineer role at Euna Solutions . As a Product DevOps Engineer in Euna Procurement, you will oversee the strategy and execution of SRE, DevOps, CloudOps, FinOps, and DevSecOps for the procurement product line. You will collaborate with development teams as well as corporate CloudOps and SRE to design, architect, implement, and maintain infrastructure, ensuring rapid and reliable delivery of applications to production while upholding high standards of quality and reliability. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure administration, automated deployment pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools will be crucial as you serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for your product line and offer support to peers. Responsibilities Product-Centric Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design and implement robust infrastructure tailored to the requirements of your assigned product line. Manage cloud-based resources (AWS and potentially Azure) and implement automation tools to optimize resource management. Cross-Platform CI/CD: Maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate building, testing, and deployment processes. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless configuration and safe, efficient rollout of changes. Proactive System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring for production systems to identify issues early and address them promptly. Troubleshoot and resolve production problems to ensure reliability. Mentorship and Collaborative Support: Mentor and train junior team members, guiding best practices and fostering rapid, quality software deployment. Automation and Infrastructure-as-Code Excellence: Drive automation tooling and IaC practices to enable agile, reliable, and scalable deployments. Security and Compliance Leadership: Implement security and compliance measures in collaboration with security and compliance teams, ensuring regulatory adherence. Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. At least 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure administration or related field. Expertise in AWS cloud-based environments (bonus for Azure). Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Bash. Experience with infrastructure automation tools Terraform and Ansible (ARM Templates a plus). Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (DataDog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Mezmo, TrackJS, etc.). Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills; willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Certifications in AWS, Azure, or other relevant technologies are a plus. Location This position will be hybrid 3 days/week in our Oakville, ON office.
