We’re looking to add a System Analyst, IT (MES) in Singapore. The position will be based in our Univac Site in Woodlands . He/she lead the implementation and optimization of MES solutions, including Camstar, upcoming new MES platform, and containerized applications on Kubernetes. This role bridges manufacturing operations and IT infrastructure, ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient MES solutions. The ideal candidate will work with vendors and cross-functional teams to define requirements, ensure seamless integration, and support deployment. Expertise in Kubernetes, MES, IoT, and cloud platforms is essential to drive digital manufacturing initiatives. Strong analytical skills are required to troubleshoot manufacturing data issues, conduct rigorous testing, and deliver effective user training. Prior experience in manufacturing environments and MES systems is essential, along with a proactive mindset for identifying process improvement opportunities. Responsibilities System Implementation & Maintenance: implement and maintain MES systems that align with business objectives and manufacturing requirements Requirements Analysis: gather, analyze, and document user requirements, translating business needs into comprehensive functional specifications Testing & Quality Assurance: design and develop test cases, execute System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system reliability and performance User Training & Support: deliver comprehensive training programs to end-users and provide ongoing technical support to maximize system adoption Cross-functional Collaboration: coordinate with various IT units and departments to deliver integrated, value-added support services across the organization Collaboration: work effectively at multiple levels within project teams, demonstrating strong collaboration skills Process Improvement: continuously monitor system performance, identify enhancement opportunities, and implement process improvements to achieve higher operational efficiency Technical Troubleshooting: diagnose and resolve complex data and system issues related to manufacturing processes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations Deploy and Manage Kubernetes Clusters: set up, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production environments CI/CD Pipeline Management: create and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps or other deployment pipeline tools Containerization: manage work with development teams to containerize applications using Kubernetes software (e.g OpenShift, Rancher or other standard Kubernetes) and ensure smooth deployment Infrastructure Automation: utilize Kubernetes related automation tools like Terraform/Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management in terms of implementing automation in infrastructure Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent Mandatory : Prior experience in the manufacturing industry and working knowledge of MES systems (preferably Camstar) Demonstrated knowledge of MES systems and manufacturing processes Familiarity with various common Linux distributions (Ubuntu, RHEL, SUSE) Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS etc. Proficiency with database tools and understanding of relational data flows Experience in programming languages such as Python, Node/React.js, C#, C++, PLC Programming & knowledge in SQL, YAML, Queries is a plus Experience in IoT is a plus Multi-tasking capabilities with proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with stakeholders at all organizational levels Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and formal software development methodologies What we value When you embody the spirit of excellence, passion for discovery, innovation and enterprise, and the desire to make a difference in the world of technology and electronics, come join the Venture team Be part of the global Venture family. #J-18808-Ljbffr
