Senior Project Engineer

Assignment Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Engineer to join a leading local Engineering"'"s team supporting offshore oil and gas projects. This role demands a seasoned professional with proven expertise in subsea systems, drilling operations, and topsides engineering. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering complex projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams through all phases of offshore project execution Oversee design, planning, and implementation of subsea, drilling, and topsides scopes Interface with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure technical compliance and project alignment Manage budgets, schedules, and risk assessments across multiple concurrent projects Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards Support tendering and proposal development for new offshore opportunities Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Marine, or related discipline) Minimum 8 years of experience in offshore oil and gas projects, with a strong focus on subsea, drilling, and topsides engineering Demonstrated success in leading complex engineering projects from concept to completion Strong understanding of offshore regulatory frameworks and industry standards Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation preferred Must be based in or willing to relocate to St. John’s, NL Duration Permanent Full-Time Location St. John's, NL Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Oil and Gas #J-18808-Ljbffr
