Agilus Work Solutions has a financial services client in Toronto looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join their team for a 6‑month contract to start. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain exposure to latest technologies in the market, grow their GCP skillsets, and visibility with senior stakeholders and different business groups. Responsibilities Key accountabilities include design, development and maintenance of cloud platforms, services, and components to enable safe enterprise‑wide use of public cloud offerings. As a member of the Cloud Storage team, this individual is responsible for supporting the bank’s CAP initiative with respect to Google Cloud Storage solutions. This individual will support and create IaC code, automation, policies and patterns around Google Cloud NetApp Volumes (GCNV), Google Cloud Storage buckets (GCS) and persistent disks. Technical ownership/leadership of a component of a larger product. Designing, implementing, and refactoring code (typically Go, Python). Ensuring software, programs and applications are developed and/or configured to meet high availability, integrity and reliability, security, and compliance requirements. Requirements 8+ years of hands‑on technical working experience with Cloud Environments such as GCP, AWS, Azure, etc. 3+ years of Terraform coding experience. 1‑2 years of hands‑on cloud operations and administration experience with GCP. 5+ years of technical working experience in an Infrastructure Operations, DevOps or Cloud Engineering Operations type of role. 5+ years of hands‑on technical working experience with development/scripting languages, container‑based technologies, configuration management tools, CI/CD tools, and Infrastructure as Code.
