Preference will be given to candidates currently living in Canada and those who have a minimum of five (5) years of proven Canadian experience working as Network Security Consultant. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced security consultant to support the deployment, configuration, and support of SASE security services. Following a successful proof of concept, the project is now in a pilot phase and requires expert guidance to implement, configure, optimize, and support the vendor solution for the environment— including user setup, practical support, and troubleshooting. Duties & Responsibilities SASE Configuration, Deployment, and Management Configure and deploy SWG, CASB, ZTNA, and associated SASE security services to meet the organization’s requirements. Ensure that all policies, threat protections, and secure access controls are properly applied. Operate the solution and provide active/real‑time feedback on effectiveness of policies and configurations. Administrator and User Setup and Provisioning Assist with onboarding administrators and tool managers from identity, networking, and security teams. Develop processes to set up user accounts. Apply user‑specific policies and troubleshoot access issues. Support and Troubleshooting Provide hands‑on support throughout the pilot and full‑scale rollout phases. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration or operational issues. Best Practices Guidance Provide expert guidance on best practices for SASE security configuration and deployment. Recommend optimizations to improve performance, security, or usability. Develop & Configure Reporting Work with senior leaders and SMEs to configure, develop, and/or automate reporting, dashboards, and insights. Support Security Investigations Provide support with the SASE solution to Security Investigation teams as required. Documentation and Knowledge Transfer Provide clear documentation of configurations, policies, and processes. Support learning and development staff with creation and delivery of knowledge content. Conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions for internal IT staff to ensure sustainable support after the pilot. Qualifications / Requirements Mandatory Resource Have a minimum of five (5) years of proven experience working as a Data Engineer or similar role. Possess a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering or Computer Science, or a diploma in related data management/information technology stream with three (3) additional years of experience (over the required five (5) years) working as a Data Engineer or similar role. Have a minimum of two (2) years of proven experience using Informatica software (i.e., Power Centre, Integration Services, Workflow Manager, IDMC and TDM) in an integrated support environment. The Resource(s) must be located and permitted to work in Canada. Mandatory Resource Qualifications / Requirements Have information security consulting experience at a tactical delivery level. Have experience acting as a key resource on information‑security‑related projects. Have experience recommending or implementing best practices, tools, and processes in security areas. Have managing or being a key resource in security projects requiring coordination of resources across organizations. Rated Resource Qualifications / Requirements Experience configuring SASE security services aligned with SWG, CASB, and ZTNA. Experience performing user setup, provisioning, and security policy configuration in SASE environments. Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues during pilot and rollout phases. Experience advising on SASE best practices for configuration, deployment, and optimization. Experience developing reporting, dashboards, and automated insights. Experience supporting Security Investigation teams using SASE tooling. Experience developing documentation, training, and conducting knowledge‑transfer sessions related to SASE environments.
