The Opportunity As a Virtual Hospitalist , you’ll deliver high-quality care through Teladoc Health Canada’s virtual platforms. You will: Join a team of Hospitalists working with onsite clinicians to bring additional support to general wards virtually Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage in-patients; order/review labs and imaging; address results and emerging issues Collaborate with onsite clinicians, remote physicians, and nursing staff to prioritize and distribute patient cases Participate in patient rounds, huddles, and interdisciplinary meetings; ensure effective handovers between shifts Escalate complex cases to shift leads or Teladoc medical leadership as required Partner with medical, nursing, and management teams; foster a supportive, relationship-based culture Shifts typically fall on any day of the week from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm PST What You’ll Need Current, unrestricted licensure with CPSBC At least 1–3 years clinical experience working as a hospitalist Must be available to work on weekends Passion for equitable, high-quality care and for delivering it virtually to patients in need Comfortable using or learning digital platforms and EMRs Experience working in the digital health sector preferred What We Offer Predictable scheduling : Build your practice around your life Robust clinical training: We get you ready before your first shift Full administrative support: IT, scheduling, payment and more handled for you Continuous quality improvement: Backed by a dedicated clinical leadership team Ready to explore the possibilities?
