We are seeking an Associate Partner to lead the delivery of projects and support client development for a boutique consulting firm focused on the metals and mining industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the metals and mining industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in delivering high-impact consulting projects, managing client relationships, and leading project teams to deliver exceptional value to the clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the mining sector.
- Lead and manage multiple consulting projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Provide strategic advice and insights to clients on a range of issues including exploration, production optimization, sustainability, and market trends.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and expansion of the firm.
- Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and trends, providing thought leadership and contributing to the firm’s knowledge base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the mining industry.
- Experience working in a top-tier consulting firm is a must.
- Proven track record of managing complex consulting projects and delivering measurable results.
- Strong business development skills with a demonstrated ability to grow client relationships and secure new business.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.

- Duration: Full-time role
- Time commitment: Full-time, 5 days a week
- Location: Canada, typical mining camp rotation
- Expected range: $250K - $275K (CAD) base salary plus bonuses
