Mechanical Installation Technician

**Job Title: Mechanical Installation Technician****Job Description**We are seeking individuals to assist in the setup and installation of a new conveyor system. This position offers a great opportunity to gain experience and potentially transition to other projects.**Responsibilities**Assist in the installation and setup of conveyor systems.Utilize various hand and power tools effectively.Work both indoors and outdoors in winter conditions.Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.**Essential Skills**3+ years of assembly or construction experience, preferably in conveyor installation.Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Basic English communication skills for health and safety purposes.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**Technical diploma in a construction-related field or equivalent is an asset.Journeyman Certification is an asset.Experience working at heights and with millwrighting is beneficial.Forklift certification, IHSA certification, and aerial work platform experience are advantageous.**Why Work Here?**This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on a significant project with potential for future projects. Employees will work in both indoor and outdoor settings, often in winter conditions.
