Job Title: Automation QA/SDET Location: Halifax, NS (Thrice a Week Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Opportunity Job Description Must-have Good knowledge of QE Processes, Testing Life Cycle, SDLC, QE and DevOps tools (JIRA, Confluence, QTest, HP ALM, etc.), and Defect Management processes for application testing, development, and support with hands-on experience in creating test cases and executing manual/automated tests. Database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, IMS) and SQL experience. Experience with test automation frameworks/tools such as Robot Framework, SoapUI or ReadyAPI, Postman, and Selenium WebDriver, and development languages like Python, Java, SQL Server stored procedures, etc. Possession of a Computer Engineering, Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a QA/test environment focusing on technical, automated testing across various environments (Cloud, distributed, mainframe, business workflows, services/APIs, databases). Knowledge of Testing Methodologies with hands-on experience using various testing tools. Experience in Microservice testing and API testing. Strong problem-solving, design, and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, test automation vision, and leadership skills for innovation. Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GIT, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
