Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Automation Strategy: Lead the design, development, and implementation of highly maintainable, scalable, and resilient test automation frameworks, primarily utilizing C# and Selenium Web Driver . Test Development: Write comprehensive, structured test cases, test scripts, and acceptance criteria (using formats like Gherkin/BDD) across various layers: web UIs, mobile applications, RESTful/SOAP APIs, and complex backend components. Continuous Integration: Integrate automated test suites into our CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps ) to enforce quality gates and support frequent, reliable software releases. Advanced Testing: Execute and report on specialized non-functional testing, including performance validation, load testing, and security testing fundamentals (e.g., input validation, authentication flows). Quality Leadership: Champion Agile/Scrum methodologies, participate in planning and grooming sessions, and serve as the Quality Gatekeeper throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC ). Tooling & Management: Utilize advanced features within test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray ) to ensure comprehensive reporting and traceability. Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Expertise Experience: 8+ years of hands‑on experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA ) with a proven track record in both manual testing and building scalable automation frameworks. Core Automation: Strong experience with test automation tools and scripting, specifically building frameworks using C# and Selenium . API Testing: Deep expertise in testing REST and SOAP APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, or automated frameworks (e.g., RestSharp, HttpClient). Version Control & CI/CD: Solid understanding and practical experience with version control systems (Git, GitLab ) and deploying/managing tests within modern CI/CD practices. Writing test cases and acceptance criteria. Process & Methodology Agile: Deep understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC ) and working proficiently within an Agile/Scrum development environment. Documentation: Proven ability to translate complex product requirements and technical specifications into comprehensive test cases and acceptance criteria. Problem Solving: Excellent analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills to effectively identify root causes of defects. Security Clearance: Must be eligible for up to a Top-Secret Security Clearance .
